OUR first West Ham Retro Fair, held in Romford yesterday (Nov 2), was unanimously voted a big success by the hundreds who flocked to the RUSSC venue in Mawney Road, where ex-Hammers Frank McAvennie, Alan Stephenson and Eddie Bovington were the main star attractions.

Fellow former Hammers Pat Holland and Brian Dear also made surprise guest appearances to further delight the supporters who were immersed in a wonderful world of claret-and-blue nostalgia.
